I think I've really outdone myself this time O_O I can't believe I actually drew this, it must be my best work so far! Even if her arms are different sizes and her right hand looks a little off... T^T The .psd file is so huge, it makes my laptop lag now lol.

I love, love, love, love, love watermelons! Anyone who knew me on Pangya would know that, heheh... Which is why I think this one turned out so well :la:

Done in Photoshop CS4 with a Wacom Bamboo tablet.

This looks awesome! The character design is great, really reminds me of a watermelon. The colours (especially the colour gradient near the waist) is real nice, and I like how her hair curls at the end of the pigtails/twin tails. Really reminds me of the plant portion itself. The buttons on her top also looks like seeds, as well as the dots on her skirt. Overall it seems like you've included the outside and inside of the fruit, which is really what you see when the fruit is served too.

Awesome stuff! I think I'll stop now since my comment is turning into a paragraph lol

*Saphirya did a really good job of designing the character, ne? I've been meaning to design my own watermelon girl for a long time, so when she requested that I draw hers, I just had to accept lol

Maybe I'll come up with my own one of these days...
